Career
After graduating from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in 2006, I started my career at Goldman Sachs, as a trader on the equity volatility desk. I gravitated towards the VIX, a new product at the time, and that became the focus of my time on the sell-side. In late-2007, I joined Société Générale to start and run their VIX business, the same role I later took on at JP Morgan from 2012-2014. From 2014-2020, I was a Portfolio Manager in the equity volatility space for Och Ziff (now Sculptor) and then Graham Capital Management. I am currently the Managing Partner of Moo Point Capital Management, a fund that focuses on the equity index volatility markets.
Passions
I love dogs (all dogs), politics (less so these days), poker (the exhilaration of winning a WSOP Bracelet is something I will treasure forever), and sports (particularly the Atlanta Falcons). My family is my biggest passion–my wife, Sarah, our daughters, Falcon and Aspen, and our 3 Great Pyrs, Miley, Dave, and Bruce (named after our treasured musical influences). I am also proud to be a member of the Board of Directors of Soldier Strong, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping our returning Heroes.
